Just been on holiday in Reus, Aug 19, and used InterRent. After these reviews I was dreading the experience, the car and expected to get screwed over. I was wrong! These guys were very friendly, my car was in perfect condition and got my deposit back in 3 days. Personally I had a great experience.

Car was lovely, clean. Hence the 1 star. Interaction with the agent at Reus was friendly but however now I know he lied. 80 fuel deposit was not returned in fact it was 67. Full to full. When hiring a car they are tacking on hidden charges over and over. You are quoted an initial cost and then they add everything on nearly doubling the price. Returning the car their customer service was them walking away...shocking. AVOID!
I was a bit hesitant booking with this company due to some of the reviews, but in reality the whole experience was absolutely fine. Desk is right in the terminal near carousel. Picked up bags and then had the car keys within 10 minutes. Short walk over the the carpark and the car was there. Had booked a 3 door but in the end got one with 5 doors which was a bonus. Car was new and great condition. On return simply parked the car up and dropped the keys off. Credit card charge was refunded within a few days with no issues or reductions. As easy and smooth as you want when on holiday, would use again.
Interrent / Goldcar) I had a minor damage and despite dozens requests from me they did not send me a damage specification. But they do deduct the full deductible from my credit card without any explanation. And with that they steal 1229 from my credit card So I have filed a complaint with ECC (European Consumer Complaints) about their practices and I have initiated a litigation procedure through my bank. Because they did not respond to that either, I won the dispute. Right will prevail !!!. I warn everyone about this Goldcar / Interrent. As soon as there is a minor damage, it is fully inflated and they claim the maximum amount and do not communicate on specification or whatever. Unreliable and luminous. Be warned !!! and choose another car rental company !!! Read the other reviews that also strongly demonstrate the glowing side of this company. Maar ze schrijven wel het volledige eigen risico van mijn creditcard af zonder enige uitleg. En daarmee stelen ze 1229 van mijn kredietkaart Dus ik heb een klacht ingediend bij ECC (europese consumenten klachten) over hun praktijken en ik heb een betwistings-procedure gestart via mijn bank. Omdat ze ook daar niet op reageerden heb ik de betwisting gewonnen. Recht zal zegevieren!!!. Ik waarschuw iedereen voor deze Goldcar/Interrent. Zodra er een kleine schade is wordt dat volledig opgeblazen en eisen ze het maximale bedrag op en communiceren niet over specificatie of wat dan ook. Onbetrouwb en oplichtend. Wees gewaarschuwd !!! en kies een andere autoverhuurder!!! Lees de andere reviews die ook sterk de oplichtende kant van dit bedrijf aantonen. Jeroen Gerrits.
If i could give less i would. Terrible service, terrible communication and fined 40 for returning a car 3 minutes late. The car we rented wasn't what we received, we were charged hidden extras at the check in and had to deal with rude unaccommodating staff at drop off.
