Tried shipping a package for which I needed to print the label on their computer. From the start the man helping me had no idea what he was going. I getting frustrated. Young women siting down in the back on her iPad tells me I don’t have to ship with them. So I didn’t. She help just sat on her butt looking at her IPad while the guy fumbled around. Went to the USPS, in and out no problems. Support the USPS!!!

On December 4, 2019 I went to the UPS Store in Rhinbeck, NY. I was in need of their shipping services. I had oddly sized framed piece, so I was also in need their packing skills. The piece was fragile and when I had it professionally framed, quite costly. The gentleman assisting me explained that 100 of insurance came with the shipping fee. I purchased an additional 100 of insurance. At least, in the event the package was damaged or lost, I would be able to recoup something for the loss. My total fee was a little over 26, the packing, shipping and additional insurance. Based on past experiences with Priority Mail from the U.S. Postal service, that fee was just about in line with what they would charge, yet I would have had to take care of the packing of the oddly sized, fragile piece. The package arrived at it's destination the next day. The recipient told me the condition of the piece was perfect. It was handled with great care. I will make use of their services again in the future.
