Very nicely preserved place. Fresh air, lots of things to see, from plants to birds. Would be nice to enforce people respecting the rules of not walking on the dunes and not throwing trash. Very nice welcome also from the reception

Natural beauty! My advice is to go early morning to admire the sun rise.
No clear instructions when you arrive, but once you arrive you have to park up next to the little building (office) before passing the barriers, honing buy tickets 2.80 and then the security guards opens the barriers so you can park in a designated area. I wonderful reserve, a bit rough looking once you go in but once you get to the ponds/ lakes/ marshes it’s beautiful, not a lot of wild life around apart from in the water but the wonderful the views the area has is most definitely worth a visit.
Natural Reserve for bird conservation in Olhao. Spend a few hours walking the nature trail and watching birds. Nice place to get some calm and peace. It's open all around the year.
Don't feel there is an awful lot of wildlife to see in the summertime but cheap to go in at 2 euro 80. Park up at the side of the office, go in and pay and then the man lifts the barrier to get to the main car park. Good for a walk and I liked the tidal mill and views across the water.
Worth a visit if you are in Olhão. You can find the park in the heart of the Very Typical Ria Formosa. Nice for a quiet walk in nature. Lovely for bird watching fans. You get to see an old tide mil at work, and much more. I dare you to visit.
Beautiful park but 2.8 euro each to visit and increadibly rude man in the entrance office. Arguing with another visitor and very rude and arrogant with us
Great walk for a cooler and cloudier day. Get plenty of water as it takes about 2 hours to complete the loop.
