Full bang for the buck! We were a group of 8 that got arranged in 5 rooms. Each room had everything you could expect. Kitchen and dining room were efficient and easy to access. Common areas were amazing with plenty and grand facilities like a giant climbing wall of approximately 30x15 m (LxH), snooker, ping-pong, indoor football etc. The host was very kind, and prepared everything for us, and left the door open for our late arrival. Definitely recommended for active people, youngsters and people with kids.

Very nice, clean, well-managed place. Do not miss the hostel breakfast. Ribe is a fascinating, historical town.
Since we arrived later than the reception closing hour we did not get to meet the staff the first night. The night after though we asked for a hairdryer and the person at the reception was kind to give it to us. Everything was quite clean and we liked our space. Our room had a view on Ribe's historic centre. Loved it. The hostel was well furnished: it has different rooms where you get to do different activities. I would come back.
Good service
A good and affordable hostel, centrally located in Ribe. Clean, good breakfast with some local specialties, a nice and tidy guest kitchen with all the necessary equipment and the opportunity to rent sheets and towels if you need it. There's also a nice little sitting area outdoors, which is the perfect place on a sunny day.
The rooms are pretty simple but the atmosphere is really nice. Friendly staff and they rent out really good bikes (tip: bike to Vester Vedsted Vingard for the best brunch). There is a good and clean kitchen that you can use for dinner and the breakfast they serve is really good.
This is perhaps the finest and friendliest youth hostel we have ever stayed in in Europe. The hosts were very warm and helpful and the place was spotless, more like a hotel than a hostel. The location of the hostel is also just wonderful, quiet and yet minutes walk into the centre of this amazingly wonderful old town. I guess you get the picture? We would go back in a flash! If you have not heard of Ribe, or if you are looking for a quitely enjoyable place to stay for a few days in Denmark, I will recommend Ribe before anywhere else...lots to hold the eyes (take your camera!), good food and do not miss the ghost walk with the town watchman, RAIN OR SHINE!
Good place to stay in a very nice town.
