I purchased Citizen watch over 24 months ago from this store. It devoloped a quirky little fault recently, so as it has 5 year manufacturers warranty I registered to return watch for repair to them (return to base warranty). I always knew that I would have to pay to send it back if fault occurred. I have just passed this store where I bought my watch, and on impulse popped in to just ask if they had heard of similar fault before. They might have a little trick they could do, a reset or similar that might resolve issue. It would save me the cost of having to send my watch to service centre (nearly 10 as it would need to be insured for 400 watch). I asked my question in store and the assistant politely asked me to bring to him and he would arrange repair and send it for me. I explained it was over 2 years old and I had no issue as i always knew that would cost to return. He insisted that as I bought watch from them they would arrange everything for me. It did not matter to him that he was only responsible for 12 months after the sale, 'you bought it from ourselves sir, just bring it in with the guarantee booklet, and we will arrange it all'. I was happy with shop service and quality watch when I originally purchased it. Now, I can honestly say I am delighted with it. It is nice to see a service level that is above and beyond and not a level based on the least amount the business can get away with. Good One Guys, would happily recommend to anyone !!!!!!

Called in to get a watch battery changed to be told that putting a new battery in was not getting it working but it could be sent away for 60 to see if they could get it fixed which I declined. Just been to Bury to the watch shop in the Millgate and 8.99 later the watch is working with a new battery!!
