Friendly country diner. Had the clubhouse for lunch. Real roasted in-house turkey. Excellent sandwich with bonus home made fries! Home made pies & deserts if u have any room leftover. This is a must try stop.

Very friendly and so kind and understanding to my visit. A Great selection of pre-home made dinners and baked goods along with local crafts. I was impressed with the whole package. Great jobs ladies
Wonderful service. The food is excellent. There was 15 of us and we were served in a fast timely manner. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food and great service! Everything you should expect from a small town diner, friendly people and large portions. Will definitely go here again and recommend anyone stop in and enjoy it as well!
Great burger. Kinda lackin on roast beef on the Roast Beef sandwich could easily be double. Which is too bad because the beef is cooked to perfection.
An all around fantastic dining experience. This place is a diamond in the rough. From the moment I walked in until I walked out (very full) , everything was A1. Thanks to Corrine (I hope I spelled it right) my server and cook extraordinaire this evening. The meal was delivered in a reasonable amount of time, it was piping hot and presented well on the plate. Very tasty and I would have to rate the quality of the meat as AAA. The portion sizes are very generous to the point I needed a take out container to bring home better than a third of the meal. I had intended to have the rice pudding (which, I have heard good things about) but, that wasn't happening on this trip because I was very full. The restaurant itself is immaculately clean and fresh. The menu selections are very broad so, there's something for everyone's appetite. And from what I can tell, the meals are all home style cooking and baking. I can't say enough good things about this dining experience. You'll just have to try it for yourself. I definitely recommend this restaurant. If I had to say anything negative it could only be about there being no WiFi and maybe the lack of windows. Just one more thing, the owner really ought to establish a website.
I'm a professional driver. I tend to travel from Ontario to Winnipeg regularly for work, and had kept meaning to stop and try the food. Well, thanks to running out of hours, I got the chance. I have to say I wasn't disappointed. The burger I had was cooked just the way I like it, with a hand made, fresh ground beef patty, fresh cut fries and a nice, rich brown gravy on my poutine. The staff were both very nice and pleasant to deal with. The atmosphere on the side I was on was a typical diner. Clean, smelling of good, home cooking. I had the chance to meet the owner who was very accommodating to me by allowing me to reset there. Very pleasant lady. I'm very happy I finally had the chance to stop here, and plan to make it a regular stop whenever I'm out her and can.
Terrible! Ordered a simple breakfast. The potatoes tested like they were from yesterday, microwaved and smothered in pepper to cover the taste of the fridge. The waitress spent our entire visit sitting at the next table chatting with her friends, eating and ignoring us. Shame, this used to be favourite place for breakfast between Kenora and Winnipeg.
