I haven’t drive for a year and I took 3 lessons with Pakcan Driving School to refresh my driving skills. Mr. Khurram is a professional and the best driving instructor I’ve ever met. He will teach you the proper techniques in driving. If you want to pass your road test, I highly recommend Pakcan Driving School. 5 star!!!

I have spent time searching for driving school in Richmond and found Pakcan is the best one. Even with ZERO driving experience, after learning with the instructor (also owner of the school) for more than 10 lessons, I have passed the Class 7 road test. One thing I like about this instructor is that he is very detail-oriented and will teach you everything you need, not only to PASS the test, but also to drive SAFELY on your own with CONFIDENCE. He is sometimes a bit strict while teaching, but it is good to shape up your good driving behaviours. I would suggest to call him in advance for booking, because his schedule is pretty tight. One last thing, if you are coming from another area to take road test in Richmond, even if you have already known how to drive, it could be great beneficial for you to take SEVERAL lessons rather than just one to familiarize with the driving test routes and traffic.
My husband and I moved to Canada in August 2020. We passed our basic knowledge test in January 2021 and started taking lessons with Pakcan Driving School. We had to learn a few differences between South Africa and Canada such as driving on a different side of the road and rules here. Mr. Khurram is patient and very helpful. During your first few lessons, he provides you with a lot of the basics and is quick to give feedback. As your lessons continue, he makes you start taking charge of your driving so that he can see if you can follow the road markings, speed limits etc as required. Prices are reasonable and we would definitely recommend taking classes here!
I would suggest to opt for an instructor from an area where you want to give your road test. Some are very experienced and professional and can take you to the actual exam routes making it easy to pass the test. I hired PakCan in Richmond area for me and my husband both and took 2 lessons of 1 and a half hour each and cleared our exams !!
Khurram is VERY knowledgeable and ensures you know what you are doing before your road test. He is very clear and explains concepts well. Highly recommend Pakcan Driving School!
Best driving school in Vancouver Area! I would like to thank Mr. Khurram for all the lessons and advices he gave me during the practice lessons. He was super patient and helped me achieve my goal of passing the road test after more than 1 year without driving from the first try! He really knows Richmond area, he will drive you on the road test area so you can get familiar with the area before the road test. He is super careful with all your mistakes and really helps you correct them. He is always prepared, has a whiteboard and some toy cars to explain you how you should proceed in some situations. Any questions you have, don't hesitate to ask him! Definitely will recommend this driving school to everyone I know!
I had an awesome learning experience with Mr. Khurram! He made time for my driving lessons and took into account my work schedule even after the short notice that I gave him regarding my upcoming road test. Mr. Khurram explained patiently, clearly and professionally to me what I was doing wrong and showed me how to fix my mistakes. He always pointed out my mistakes and constantly gave me tips for my road test. He knows Richmond very well and showed me the tricky intersections and what to pay attention to. He was punctual and always took time to make sure I have all my questions answered. The little whiteboard and the toy cars were super useful for discussing special situations in traffic or anything that wasn't clear to me. He even took time for an extra lesson outside of the initial package and I really appreciate him for doing that! He gave me confidence that he cares about my success and is willing to work with me towards achieving my goal of passing the road test. After a few lessons his hard work and perseverance resulted in me passing the road test after the first try, even though I haven't driven for 9 months now!! I will definitely recommend Mr. Khurram and this driving school to all my friends who are planning to take the road test. Best driving school in Vancouver!!!!
Excellent teacher; he gives clear instructions, takes the student around all possible test routes and is a very nice guy. My wife and I both took lessons in preparation for our road tests and both passed first try. I would highly recommend enlisting his help to a driver of any level: I had quite a bit of experience going into the lessons but he helped me to drop my bad habits before the test. My wife had little experience but with Mr. Khurram's help (alongside regular practice) she passed with flying colours. A!
