We visited this weekend and did the Alice in wonderland themed room. I cannot speak highly enough of our host Rachel. She clearly knows her stuff and her heart is all in her job. She was spunky and engaging and incredibly knowledgeable. The room was SO much fun from the slide to the small doors and multiple levels! It was amazing! We have done multiple escape rooms and this one was the best! We will def be. back to try to some of the other rooms! THANK YOU RACHEL for making our experience such a blast.

What a great time!! We did the newly opened Manhattan room and had a...wait for it....BLAST! I really loved how it was both time-period appropriate and had some cleverly done tech. Most of the game is very intuitive and several puzzles were cleverly hidden within the details of the game itself. We also adored Rachel, meeting owners/managers that are as as enthusiastic about Escape Games is always a good time! She was gracious, sweet, and sooo funny!! We can't wait for our next trip to Richmond, River City will surely see us again!!
My teens all had a blast! The Alice room was so fun! We went back again a few days later for the \River City Dolls\ and they were, again, FANTASTIC! We had so much fun! Ask about River City Dolls the newest room (not on the website yet) because it is such a great event! Rachel is fantastic to work with and \Alice & Dorothy\ were just as amazing! Thank you to the entire team! We loved it! The kids are already asking about doing another room and we haven't even made it home!
River City Escape Room has taken virtual fun to a whole new level. When my coworker and I were looking for a fun event to do with our team that had to be virtual, we immediately thought escape rooms. After touring some other sites virtually we were about to lose hope until we found River City Escape Room. After a phenomenal preview with Rachel, we knew we had to book! Fast forward to our event. All of our expectations were exceeded! I wasn’t 100% sure how it would work out having a group of about eight people on a zoom call together going through escape room, but Rachel did an excellent job guiding us through it. Let me say there was plenty of fun and humor along the way as well. Even when we had our thinking caps on trying to figure out the next puzzle, we were always having such a good time. As our team is based in the security realm we decided to do the innocent room. Basically prove yourself innocent from a crime and escape. This room feels like it would be so much fun both virtually and in person. The clues were not to easy but not too difficult either. This was a great room to work as a team and escape. We escaped with only a few seconds to go! It was an awesome challenge. I hear that they are still doing some in person virtual rooms, which is so exciting to me because the rooms look really well set up. But I would be just as happy doing it virtually again as well! Maybe next time we check out Manhattan! I also want throw just the biggest call out that I can for Rachel. Her enthusiasm lit up the room and made our virtual fun event a huge success! We appreciate her and the rest of the team at river city escape room so much for giving us something fun and exciting to do as a team, together but apart. Thank you!
We tried the Speakeasy room. Lots of fun! They watch & help u with clues. We were on the very last clue & time ran out. They came into the room. I wish they'd left us to finish. Snowflake is the best!!
