I have enjoyed all of the services and the Rabbi is so inspirational and has helped me learn a lot about Judaism. Thanks for helping me be a better person as well as a better Jew..

Rabbi Knopf opened Passover with a community Seder on the calendar at Temple Beth El. It was a pleasant evening blending education with a friendly dinner & nice people. In Richmond, the synagogues predominantly cater to patriarchal beliefs. Backward into 1950 isn't where women should be for a safe life of personal growth, safety & financial independence. I don't want this or divisionary gossip for my kids. Not an environment that is healthy. Security is good for the temple. The MRPD was always professional, sincere, polite & watchful under Chief Alfred Durham. 2 officers stood at the entrance & the evening was fine.
Wonderfully kind and welcoming community.
Amazing, dynamic, heymish congregation!
