We have been looking so long to find a place to buy our meat and vegetables that practices sustainable farming and raises their animals in a humane, healthy way, well, we found it and boy did we strike gold! We buy all our meat there, beef, pork, chicken and turkey and it is divine! We also buy quite a few of our veggies there and plan to sign up for their weekly veggie share next Spring. Matt and Jen are truly amazing people and are always so helpful and friendly to us. Inspiration Plantation has allowed us to completely change the way we buy and eat food for the better and as nature intended. We will be customers for life! Tamara and Louis Sutton

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! This is where I buy all my eggs and meat (beef, chicken, lamb, pork, turkey). I also buy their fresh organically grown produce to supplement what I don't grow myself. I like knowing where my food comes from, how it is grown, and seeing for myself how the animals are raised. Most of all I like knowing who my farmers are. The owners, Jen and Matt, are friendly, helpful, open and honest and they are always willing to answer my questions and share information. Farm tours are available so you can see, hear and ask questions about all aspects of the farm. They have a beautiful farm store where they sell their various farm products as well as products from other local farms. Durning farm store hours they offer fresh brewed organic coffee and delicious fresh baked pastries. I especially love the self-serve cooler where you can pick up eggs and their fresh seasonal produce 24/7…how convenient is that?! Their website is awesome and filled with great photos and tons of information.
I would have to say my experiences at I.P. have been…oh awesome, enlightening, educational, inspiring and encouraging! Matt and Jen have created a wonderful and unique environment in a 'small farm,' way of life. Their practices in following what Joel Salatin (healthy farm guru) talks about was what inspired me to check them out years ago and I've been delighted to know them ever since. I feel blessed to have uncovered such a cornucopia of healthful meat items as well as participating in their farm tours and CSP this last year. When my chickens have slowed down on their eggs I always pick up a few more cartons from their fridge because I know I can trust how they raise their animals. We fill our freezer with their chickens and enjoy a variety of pork and beef as well. Our family chooses their products over any stores around and we don't even mind driving the distance to have the knowledge that what we put on our table is as healthy and happy as it can be.
