We love this concert venue. We come up from Oregon just to go here. We have seen many concerts here. Our preference is for the lawn seating. The tickets are cheap and it gives you a chill summer vibe. Hanging out on the lawn, drinking some beers, soaking up some sun, jamming to some good music. Love it!! The beer is overpriced like everywhere and there are long wait lines for beer and food, but that’s to be expected. So come with that expectation and it shouldn’t affect your mood.

One of my favorite venues and here are my reasons. 1. Size the amphitheater is spacious and offers two types of viewing experiences A. Relaxed in the grass show on a budget all about the music B. Seating under covered awning part of the experience and wiling to invest more per ticket 2. Outside , some might see this as an issue but this allows for you to plan ahead and regulate your own heat , your not body to body with no airflow or stuck with over powering AC’s . Can’t wait for covid to pass to enjoy live performances again
The reserved seating is comfortable and quite affordable. The lawn seating looks spacious, but I like to see the stage and I am not sure how well that works on the lawn. Seating capacity is 18,000 so too small for big name acts, but they can offer a duel lineup of the mid-level bands. The worst thing about the experience is getting out of the parking lot after the show. It feels like everyone is leaving via the same exit and you find out eventually that is close to what is happening. Note parking capacity is 7200 so for a big show allow 1.5hrs. A good trick since most of traffic is heading south to Vancouver/Portland, get on the freeway heading north and turn around at the next exit. Next time I will try the shuttle from the Salmon Creek park and ride to see how that works.
Loved the outdoor seating. all the concessions and restrooms are easily accessible and pretty well laid out. Easy 45 minutes drive from Portland. Good lineup of acts on a regular basis. Saw Shinedown & the pyrotechnics were amazing. Great stage setup. would recommend to any regular concertgoers and newbies alike.
I have seen so many great bands here ( three days Grace, stp , bush, live, shine down, breaking Ben, bad flower, nickleback and many more) but the venue is what really makes a great show. Parking at the park and ride then taking the shuttle is the way to go. You end up going through a separate security than the main entrance and you walk right into the only full bar. I have yet to sit in the lawn but I have walked up there to check it out. You can see the stage great ( better than some of the seats up front) but really anywhere you have a great view of the stage. Free parking the shuttle is only 3 I believe.
