The hotel was opened in 2003 and features 37 spacious, individually designed and furnished guest apartments (45-80m2), suitable for both short- and long-term stays. Our staff provides services, amenities and assistance on a level expected from a five-star establishment. Since 2009, we are proud to offer additional opportunities for relaxation and event hosting at our rural residence of RŪMENE MANOR, which lies a mere 100 km from Riga. Earned in 2008, our Certificate of Compliance attests to our conformance to a five-star classification category. In 2008 the hotel was also accepted into the prestigious small-hotel alliance SLH, the only hotel in Riga with this distinction. These last few years have also seen HOTEL BERGS receive several local and international awards and recognitions: • HOTEL BERGS was nominated for the prestigious international competition European Business Awards 2012, in the category of Customer Focus; • The MICE Report Awards 2012 named the hotel the Best Luxury Hotel in Latvia; • and restaurant BERGS has been named one of The European 50 Best Restaurants.
