ORIGINAL: They happily took both my husband’s and my application , later invited us to pay 60 for our background checks, and then informed us that others had applied before us. Will update if this is taken care of. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. UPDATE: The company contacted me and made things right. They have integrity and are honest. They explained the situation and apologized. I would recommend them!

Paid the application then they didnt have the decency to let me know they choose another applicant. I need to know so I can keep looking! My time is precious as well and I have already informed my landlord when I plan to be out.

Aaron at Trail Creek Management has managed a number of rental units for me over the years and has done an excellent job. Always fast and prompt with all maintenance requests and is great to work with…couldn’t be happier! J. Parker

Rented years ago. Place smelled like cat urine but it wasn’t apparent when I looked at it because the windows and doors were open and there was cleaning going on. Neighbors were loud above me and their teen kid kept peeping in my windows. Nothing was done about it. Then when I moved out, despite everything being clean and getting my deposit back, he gave me a bad reference based on the fact that I had someone stay at the apartment when they came from out of town. Aaron felt this visitor should have been on the lease despite him only being there on the weekends. I didn’t even know he was against a visitor being there until I had moved out and he gave a bad reference when I applied for another place a couple years later. I would avoid if at all possible if you value your rental history.

We have rented through Trail Creek for almost 2 years and they are phenomenal! When we needed to upgrade to a bigger space, they made the process of transitioning apartments super smooth. We were moved out and into a new apartment in less than 2 weeks. Anytime we have had issues with anything, maintenance was quick with getting repairs done. They keep an eye on the market and keep rent very comparably low.

We've recently moved into a basement apartment in Rexburg. We really enjoy this beautiful countryside apartment. The price is VERY good. My wife falls in love with this place when the first time she saw the pictures. Aaron and his co-workers are very nice and professional. They responded very fast when we have any questions. I have rented housing many times, I definitely think Trail Creek is one of the best company we have worked with. We have 100% confidence to introduce to everyone!

Complaint not for the management agency alone but all parties allowing 417 1st street to rented out to the general public! Place wasn't in tip top shape, no worries, did small necessary thing to keep the home livable, ie. Replace the power outlets with ducttape and burn marks, fix both kitchen and bathroom drains, and even wire in my own heater that was so kindly left half apart in my living room wall. They even made sure my knowledge on ohms law was current (pun intended) after spending 3 months flipping breakers ever other hour so the food in my 1970s fridge would stay 3 below room temp. Turns out there are wiring shorts in the every wall [not scary at all, quit making it sound so bad] Today I woke up to the sounds of all the porch roofs collapsing under their own weight. But I was smart enough to save the 20 bucks a month on a 6 month lease, instead getting the 12 month least and reinvesting that 20 dollars right back into the dwelling I want absolutely nothing to do with! Yay me! I'm Really Really looking forward to June. (Amazing parking. NOT!!!!)
