Couldn't get through to customer service. Phone line kept giving me busy signal i couldn't even wait on hold.... i wanted to update my review. When i did get through customer service was pleasant and helpful. I hope they can fix their phone issues

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! -- MCI bought out the security service I'd used for years, then tried to rope me into a 5 year contract. The first time they came to inspect they said there was a system fault but their technician couldn't find the cause. But he said he cleaned the detector heads, which was part of the inspection. The system had been working fine -- no problems for at least two years -- but just hours after the technician left, the alarm went off two or three times in a single night. They said they'd have to send a different technician, but it would be several days before he could come. They said I might need a new mother board (costing hundreds of dollars). That's when I learned that every time they come they want a service fee, plus an hourly charge, PLUS a 45 \trip charge!\ I called to discuss but got a pretty rude response from their so-called \customer service.\ So I hired a different company. They came fast and got the system functioning right away. The problem turned out to be just a wire grounding out near the mother board. They also cleaned the system heads properly. (Turns out the MCI technician didn't really clean them, he just blew canned air into the heads.) I managed to get out of the rest of MCI's contract. What kind of company insists on such a long contract? And they automatically renew for the same time period unless you send them a CERTIFIED letter 60 days before expiration... (hopefully you can remember five years later when the expiration date is). Recently I noticed that this company seems to have split into two with different addresses but similar names. BEWARE!

mci eastern security beware!!!! these people are trying to collect 3000 from me i had used there service for 2 years at my previous location and when i moved i canceled the service now they want me to pay 3000 for a 5 year contract that i never agreed to. they did the same to a few other businesses in town including a church. not good business and very dishonest people
