Adapta Group is a company that was created after 15+ years of incubation and over USD$ 5 millions in investments from several sources. Over time, we specialised in the transformation of Food and Beverage (F&B) corporate supply chains into regenerative and climate resilient production hubs. By helping corporate suppliers (the farmers) implementing the most promising regenerative and climate resilient practices at scale, we are able to improve significantly the carbon, water, biodiversity and social footprints of our clients. Our program is called MAIS (Modulo Agroclimatico Inteligente e Sustentavel) and consists of: 1. Designing a regenerative agricultural production system that is specific for the value chain and the biome and that fits the combined client and suppliers’ sustainability objectives (triple bottom line) 2. We then implement the proposed system in the corporate suppliers through a hands-on technical capacity-building program. 3. We support structuring financial mechanisms to help farmers access the credit resources they need to finance the proposed innovations in case they need it through third party financial services or our own FinTech platform (under development). 4. We monitor and evaluate the results and, if required, have a third-party certification of the socioeconomic and environmental results. The MAIS has won 14 awards, among which the UNFCCC Momentum for Change.
