Easy communication via WhatsApp and emails prior to our trip were perfect to plan two days of activities and site seeking. Daniela helped us a lot in terms of understanding what we want to see and what will be most interesting for us . We spent the two days with Daniela and all four of us really like it . She knows really well the past history and present, she gave us all info about different sites, any questions we had were answered. Daniela has a gift of engaging and keeping you interested right from the beginning of the tour. She is passionate and vibrant, enthusiastic and charismatic and very professional. All in all we had such a great tours and such a great days ! Thanks a lot Daniela for sharing with us the slice of Rio!!!

We’ve been on a graffiti excursion with Daniela in Rio. That was an experience of a life time. We’ve seen so many different street art pieces, that we won’t be able to find by ourselves. Daniela told us about the history, the artists, some really interesting details of Rio life displayed on walls, fences and trees. I really recommend that your to see the real Rio from inside.
My family and I landed, in Rio de Janeiro and we were greeted by the best guide that we've had across our 51 unique International travel experiences, in 24 countries, on six continents, along with visiting 36 of 50 states within the USA — saying all that to say that we have lots to compare to and Daniela is really really good. She truly embodied Rio. The culture, the vibe, the history, the landscape, the today, and yesterday. You can tell that she is passionate about sharing knowledge and an equally passionate learner. She is highly intelligent without being bookish. Every tour was top notch! Little Africa was a highlight for us. Walking the area plus the visits to IPN and Casa de Nando gave us the feeling of being insiders. Historic Rio, Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf, Carnival Experience, The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Sebastian, and so on were all equally good. She also knows where locals go to Samba, where to find the tastiest açaí, how to navigate the subway, where to stand for the best photo (she’s a good photographer too). Many guides know their space, but she also took the time to know us and was invested in our experience while in the city. She separates herself with her ability to immerse herself into the tour by providing many points of view on the “whys” of the history and really focusing on her client's interests. She’s awesome!
I went on holiday to Rio de Janeiro in November 2018 and using Damah Tours was the best thing I did. Dani, the tour guide, was amazing and made the whole experience simple, fun and I learned so much about the city and Rio de Janeiro. Together we went to AquaRio (an aquarium), Vasco da Gama football stadium, Feira Nordestina São Cristóvão (a market with a North-Eastern Brazil theme), Búzios (a beach town in Rio), Ilha Grande (A beautiful island off Rio), RioZoo and even went to the Maracanã to watch Fluminense in the Copa Sudamericana. We also spent some time exploring the city together and went shopping for gifts, trying Brazilian food (I recommend trying coxinha), and went to a really nice coffee shop. All activities were planned and a schedule was made before I arrived, so I knew exactly where I needed to be and when. She would meet me at my hotel on time for every activity and would get transport to get there. She has a lot of knowledge about the city and will always find a great place to eat where ever we go. She is also a great English and Spanish speaker, so there is no need to worry about language barrier. I recommend using Damah Tours to anyone wanting to visit Rio de Janeiro. I for sure would love to have Dani as my guide the next time I go. 5 stars is not enough to rate her service!

Daniela é simplesmente incrível! É simpática, competente, transmite os conhecimentos de forma bem didática, é alegre e nos permite curtir ao máximo cada Detalhe dos passeios. Os 2 tours virtuais q participei (“Petrópolis” e “Mulheres da nossa história”) foram maravilhosos! Conteúdo rico e explicado de forma simples e leve, com imagens, vídeos e outros recursos bem dinâmicos, fazendo com que o “on-line” se tornasse bem acolhedor e nada entediante. Gostei demais!!! Recomendo muito!!!!
