Very lovely environment and nice cosy atmosphere.
Nothing in Dalston competes with Allpress as a go-to coffee shop, but Ripley and Lambert is pretty good. It's not just another grim little Caffe Nero clone. The folks running this place clearly care and want to do something different. A lot more seating than it seems like from the street. Staff was chilled out and friendly. Solid coffee prep. Oh, and they have AC. Definitely worth a perusal. I'm not even a film buff and I found books in their shop that I wanted to flip open and have a poke through.
Lovely atmosphere with great staff. An exiting selection of beautiful, interesting and unusual TV and film books. Great for inspiration and gift ideas. Really yummy salads and cakes!
Great Coffee and Greater Staff serving it. I love the lemonade in a bottle as well. This is what Dalston was waiting for!. Go there and try for yourself.
Great unique place! Friendly, knowledgeable staff who love film, can make a decent coffee and the cakes are amazing too. In the immortal words of Arny... I'll be back!
