The two women in the office at Fisher Nursery were extremely rude and pretentious. Came in as a business owner wanting to open a wholesale account. When I entered the office, no one had their masks on. I asked to open an account and had a receipt for my seller’s permit which included my permit number. They turned me away saying that I needed my actual certificate. When I asked the woman at the front desk, where I could obtain a copy of my certificate since I was not sent one in the mail, she did not know. The other woman present who I assume is responsible for opening accounts then told me “Department of Equalization”. When I asked if there was a way for me to print it at their office they told me no. I then asked to briefly view the will-call area of plants to get an idea of inventory and was also told no. After persisting that it would be a quick peek in and it was important to see their availability before opening a business account, the woman finally agreed to radio down to the will-call area to see if I could view. She finally agreed to let me see the plants and was very adamant about me not taking any longer than 5 minutes because the employee in the will-call section was “very busy and has stuff to do”. When I arrived to will-call, the woman there was EXTREMELY nice, told me I could take my time and would answer ANY questions that I have and was literally the only employee I interacted with that was kind and helpful. After driving almost 2 hours to get to the nursery, and driving another 2 hours back, I came to find out that all I had to do was log into my online account to print the certificate. How does a business which operates by opening accounts presumably almost every day not know this?

I bought a couple of plants from Lowe’s and are in good condition so far. However the medium size and up have a plastic tray of some sort at the bottom of the pot in the inside, this means I have to get home and remove that so my plant can drain well. The name tags are usually wrong but I don’t care about that because I know the names of what I am getting. Other than that the plants are usually full and healthy

I totally agree on the wrong names it’s crazy. I bought a Brazil philadondren (hope I spelled that right). And they labeled it a silver something lol.

I like the plants that come from this nursery, however, the fisher nursery labels on the plants almost always have major errors. The tags tend to call the plant by the wrong name in such a horrendous way that any plant person who knows there’s a difference between a philodendron and cordatum would laugh out loud at a tag that says “philodendron cortatum” etc. the list goes on. They are perpetuating erroneous names for plants en mass. This is sorta funny to me but on a serious note, they’re misleading customers into caring for plants incorrectly because plants need individualized care based on what they really are, and to someone who just takes a label for granted they will not be able to find out how to take care of their plants. Please fix the labels ? Monstera deliciosa and split leaf philodendron are not the same plant, there’s no such thing as a mini marble queen pothos, pothos philodendron and cordatum are TOTALLY different plants, etc. and you are selling a monstera Adansonii as an “obliqua” which is not, there’s only 17 times in botanical history an obliqua has ever been seen and that mislabeling is unscrupulous.

They supply plants to Lowe's with false names. They perpetuate misinformation and it's despicable that a NURSERY gets names as horribly wrong as they do. You sell adansonii under the name obliqua. A 12 plant vs a 3000 plant.
