PIYF forever has a special place in my heart! This is the place I chose to complete my first yoga teacher training 4 years ago and it has given me a very comprehensive understanding of yoga as a holistic healing science. I picked it as I wanted something more authentic and disciplined than other ashrams around the area. It was the right choice and I left with a strong foundation to continue on with my yoga journey. 4 years later I’m back for a second time for more inspirations and the program has gotten even better! Dr. Jitendra personally looks after us and his team of very knowledgeable teachers and kind staff puts so much heart and effort into every details of the program. I particular loved the very detailed hands on adjustment lessons with Prem and yoga theory classes with Simon (who is the best yoga philosophy teacher I’ve ever met). Energy anatomy theory with Sole was also very insightful. Not to mention Sony the TA who’s always present and helpful. The food here is always fresh and delicious (I miss it already!!) even though I ate so much I felt healthy and happy. Can’t wait to come back again soon. Thank you PIYF for making us into better teachers!

It’s a good school. I did 2 courses here and I’ll come back. A lot of knowledge from teachers, good clean rooms and nice food. Also I like schedule and perfect location of ashram. Everything good in this place and it’s worth to visit.

I completed the 200 hour YTT in February 2019 and absolutely loved my experience in PIYF! The teachers are kind, always helpful and available any time to answer our questions. Dr Jitendra is a passionate teacher of Ancient Hatha Yoga, constantly sharing his wisdom and pays a close attention to all his students. Sole Carbone is a kind, generous and highly inspiring teacher who shared her knowledge in Anatomy classes. Prem ji is a great practitioner and taught us about Pranayama, Bandhas and body alignment. Finally Yogi Simon Ji led very interactive classes of Philosophy of Yoga. The place is clean, ideally located in the mountains, the food absolutely delicious and the staff very friendly. I'm very grateful about the experience and highly recommend PIYF. Namaste.

I definitely recommend staying here. I stayed at this Ashram for a week and really enjoyed it. They were actually closed for vacation when I wanted to stay and they opened up their home for me and also created a custom program for me. My program included 2 yoga/ breath classes each day with a meditation and an hour of yoga philosophy. I was blown away by depth of the knowledge that the facilitators had. I learnt so much while I was here. My stay was outstanding as well! The place was sparkling clean, the food was AMAZING, and I could have a hot shower daily. I came during the winter and they had let me know that the water was heated from solar energy so there might not be hot water all the time but I never had any issues. Most importantly I felt safe staying here. The staff was like a little family. One night, one of the guys that was also staying here wasn't home before they locked the gates for the night and one of the staff members stayed up and waited for him and even offered him food when he got back I definitely recommend staying here for at least part of your time in the Rishikesh area!

It all worth it. I came so stressed but after the course feel really good. India kicks you out from comfort zone immediately however in the ashram you feel maximum good. Nothing is perfect there but for me the time there was perfect.

Personally I loved my yoga teacher training experience. At this magical place I met so many beautiful souls, some of them which I know we will meet again for sure!!! The Ashram: While my stay, the ashram is under construction, so sometimes during class it was kinda noisy with the construction. and it was a bit dusty. BUT I have to say, the staffs tried their best to kept it clean and neat for us. AND I had a chance to look at the new Rooftop. AMAZING mountain view and can't wait to go back for a meal there. I would be great to handout at the new rooftop for star-gazing at night Or sun bathing during the day!!! The Food: REALLY good food healthy, delicious, easy to digest, tasty food. especially appreciated for occasional sweets and fruits. The Teachers: I really enjoy morning yoga class with Dr Jitendra, with his guidance I feel like I could hold my posture longer, and I see improvement everyday. Yogi Simon ji was able to make philosophy fun and easy to understand for us. Love having Sole Carbone from Canada as our anatomy teacher, a new way to see how our body works and how it was all connected. Well, as for Prem ji, I wish he was more strict on us in adjustment class, I felt like we could have go thru more asanas. The Ceremonies: Personally I like all ceremonies we did with Mandeep, I was able to have my mala and statue of shiva blesses during the maha shivaratri ceremony, which made it more scared and special for me! The meditations: For me I think there was a bit too many different techniques of meditation being introduced in such intensive course. i would actually prefer to focus on a couple and really mastering it. BTW, We did a full moon meditation by the Ganga, which was one of my favourites. overall I enjoyed my times in the ashram much appreciation to all staffs working at the ashram: Sonu ji, Amit ji, and the kitchen team Tip for upcoming student: do read course material on your free time, it will make your life easier ️

I followed the 100hr TTC in Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda in August at PIYF. I can only say good things about my experience there. If you arrive tired grumpy or depressed you can be sure to depart energized positive and happy. First of all you are received at the Ashram like if you were in a home with smiley faces and open arms, starting with Jitendraji our smiling Guru always cheerful. He is the one who founded this place and I can say he is one of the best teachers I met, very professional in his practice. At his side Amalindo Swami and Garudananda, they form a very good team covering a maximum of information and knowledge for a short period of time. As for the Ashram, it's a cute private building with a nice view, always clean with a peaceful environment. The staff who work there are very nice and respectable plus we were served delicious meals! To sum up, I recommend this Ashram for whomever is interested in improving there practice and knowledge. Also, I met some amazing people with whom I had an awesome time and I cherish that. I went back home feeling light and happy with a heart full of good things. \u003c3
