Pascal G., the OG of hair cuts the one and only the most amazing! Mine and my daughters hair have been enjoying his hard amazing work since 2004 when he was working in Privee in Soho Grand. We followed Pascal everywhere from anywhere I live to any salon he works in. Currently we fly in from Florida I would NOT let anyone else touch my hair or my child’s hair ever again!

I Have been wanting to write this for so long to give this special man credit for making me feel the best when I couldn't find love for myself just being hard and mean to myself..We as woman can be unkind to ourselves and that was in the space I was at.. It sounds crazy but Pascal is the best hairstylist/talk therapist/self-esteem builder/ I felt fierce that day and any other few times I got to go to see him. Rita Hazan is pricey but there is no value you can put on a feeling when someone takes you from not wanting to be in your skin to feeling like I only wanted all eyes on me and how beautiful I felt. Take your coins put them in a jar till you have enough if you have too...... Pascal Gantois PASCAL GANTOIS is his name, I thank you Pascal for seeing me; really seeing me.....

I looked up the best colorists in NYC and I'm so happy that it lead me to Carlina. After reading articles about her I found her instagram page and her work looked so amazing. She does that girl from the show Summer House and her hair always looks beautiful so I had to make an appointment. She lived up to her reputation. I was so happy with Carlina and the salon staff was great. I could tell that they cared and that means so much. Carlina is magic. I'm so glad I found my colorist!
Going to a new colorist is a nerve racking process, but I believed I was in safe hands at Rita Hazan. Nothing could have been further from the truth. The Rita Hazan Salon has quite simply lost touch with the nature of their profession. From beginning to end, the experience is impersonal, inconsiderate and aggressive. The staff seem to be perpetually distracted by their own inflated sense of importance, hurtling around the salon speaking into completely unnecessary headsets. Colorists attempt to handle multiple clients at once, resulting in them taking no time to understand what you are looking for. My hair was painfully torn from my head during my wash with freezing cold water, which was liberally splashed across my face. I was left sitting in a chair completely ignored for almost 10 minutes with cold wet hair before being hurried over to a completely different stylist for my blow dry at which point two people tugged and pulled at my hair without speaking to me at all. The colorists are completely removed from the end result, ensuring they won’t be held accountable for not listening to you in the first place. Some of this would have been forgiven if the color had been of a high caliber. Instead I left the salon out 600 and an imperceptible color difference in my hair. It is clear the mandate of this salon is simply to make money. Unless you are celebrity you will not be cared for or about.
