Out of this world. Always have fun laser light shows on the weekend. Interesting stuff to by in thr Star Store. Staff is friendly and well educated on the stars around us. Would recommend for friends and familes.

I have always been interested in science, especially astronomy. This place has just what I've been looking for to fit that interest. The programs are well presented with content that isn't too technical and that anyone with an interest in the sciences can enjoy and learn. The laser shows are just spectacular set to popular music we all know and love such as the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Michael Jackson. The planetarium itself is intimate and the seats are very comfortable offering a pleasant viewing experience. The production of the programs is excellent updated with the latest technology. The planetarium has been recently renovated. I used to attend Triton College as a student and loved coming here. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the content of the programs. They try to present the subject matter in a way that everyone can understand. They have a Monthly Skywatch with telescopes set up outside the building with presentations on the current night sky. They also have special events such as during eclipses and present guest speakers from different scientific backgrounds mainly in the Robert Collins Building on the East Campus across 5th Avenue. I also like taking in the exhibits in the main lobby and browsing the gift shop. It is also convenient for me to come here since it is near where I live in Franklin Park. How lucky I am to live near a planetarium. I've also been to the Adler Planetarium in Chicago but haven't been there in a long time and don't go there that often since it is farther away from where I live. If you have an interest in the sciences and astronomy in particular, I highly recommend this place.

I really enjoyed my experience. The staff was very friendly and interacted well with my kids (ages 6 and 4). They had a short scavenger hunt in their lobby area. It took about 20 to 30 minutes to do. Then we watched the show. In all, we were there for an hour and a half. Plan to get there about 30 minutes prior to the show.

Very informative and very entertaining. Great staff, too. I enjoyed my time there as a former student.
