Don't get to get my hair done as much as I would like because I have a million kids, okay, only five but anyone who has kids know how it is. Anyway, whenever I get the chance to get my hair done-this is the salon I choose. The staff is great! They are very professional and their customer satisfaction is a priority. Highly recommend!!

I would have given no stars if I could have. Rude. Sent me a coupon to be used in 2 weeks. Then refused to honor it as they had no opens, anytime. Then when I asked a question they could not give me an answer. Dont know how they stay in business.
A friend and I made appointments at River Haven in advance of a visit to Black River Falls for shellac manicures, and we ended up staying for additional services - hair styles and make up touch ups. We both loved everything about River Haven; from the atmosphere to the level of service from the stylists. For those who haven't been to an Aveda concepts salon, this was our first visit to one and you absolutely can't beat getting a hair shampoo - the massage that goes with it is worth every penny. We both thought the pricing was great as well. Overall, just a fabulous experience. We live over two hours from Black River Falls and would consider going back just to visit this salon! Oh, that and a visit to Sand Creek Brewery!!
Always a pleasant atmosphere. Have learned so many tips with hair and makeup. Have enjoyed the open house occasions. Summing it all up a 5 star.
Don't try to schedule a massage there. Hard to get hold of freelancers(?) that use the place, and if you call them past a child's bedtime.....you get the riot act.....really snitty.
