The phrase “Home away from home” might be a cliché and widely used but this could not be more true when staying at the River Residence. We would definitely recommend River Residence for business, family or leisure travel as you walk away refreshed and inspired! Our family of four, which included two medium sized dogs, called the River Residence our home for two months after relocating from South Africa. Marco and his trusty team runs a tight ship and it clearly shows in the professional, friendly and sincere manner in which all guests are treated. Marco did not think twice to accommodate our dogs, which are more like children to us and we all settled in within the first day! Renate and her crew ensures that the apartments are cleaned weekly which includes a fresh set of towels and bedlinen. The communal laundry room was so well equipped that this chore seemed more like a pleasure. The apartments have everything you need to cook a hearty meal or just warm up some ready made meals. The Dulce Gusto coffee machine is a bonus as we are huge coffee drinkers. The location of the River Residence is great as you are within a very short walk of the Baden main train and bus station. Here you will find a vast selection of grocery stores and other shops to fulfil all your needs. The station is also in the heart of Baden where you will find all major banks, mobile network providers and various clothing and fast food shops. The views from the River Residence are just breathtaking and walking around the neighbourhood, interacting with the locals just makes you appreciate true Swiss hospitality even more. We will be back! Great place to stay! The apartments are very nice and modern, and very well equipped, and cleaned spotless. Marco and Renate are always happy to help with anything you need. The location, close to the center of Baden is perfect, and offers both good shopping possibilites, and plenty opportunities to go for a walk along the Limmat. We had a great experience, and we'll be back again!
I highly recommend the River Residence. The staff are friendly, caring and helpful, and the manager is very responsive. Nothing was ever a problem. The rooms are lovely, clean modern spacious and well appointed. And the Hotel is perfectly located, a short walk to the town centre and close to the river for relaxing walks. My son and I stayed in the RR for 10 weeks while my son underwent medical treatment at a nearby clinic. The RR made our time in Baden a delight, because of their fine Hotel and their wonderful staff. It felt like a home away from home.
A great alternative to hotels. Convenient location, all the amenities from cheese slicer to wine opener , spotlessly clean, professionally managed.

Man kann nichts negatives sagen. Die Zimmer sind so ausgestattet, dass man sein Aufenthalt super genießen kann. Selbst wenn man ein längeren Aufenthalt hat kann man sich nicht beklagen. Die Zimmer werden regelmäßig sauber gemacht und wenn man Probleme hat wird sich schnellstmöglich und zuverlässig drum gekümmert. Ich kann die River Residence nur empfehlen.
