I have been a long time customer (like 20 years!) of Riverset CU but since they stopped collaborating with UPMC, I haven't logged in to my account in a very long time. After one phone call followed by a lengthy chat, I am STILL unable to access my account. They are NO HELP at all. I was planning to start putting money into this account again, but since I still cannot access it, I plan to just close it as soon as I have time to figure out how to access the account. Even with the account number and all my personal information, it still will not let me access. The CSR said it's because I haven't used it in a long time. Exactly why i contacted them by phone (which didn't help as he hung up assuring me his info would work), then by chat .... who also didnt help me. Took up my entire lunch break then they wanted to call me -- but my lunch break was over and i cannot take calls while at work. Guess maybe this experience was a good one in changing my decision from adding money to the account to closing it!

Been a member for 30 years, nice people great rates. However their customer service is lacking, called 3 times in the last 2 weeks and each time I had to wait at least 18 minutes to talk with a representative. The call takers are nice and helpful. Today’s call was over 25 minutes to talk with a live person.
i needed to give this institution a 1 star rating in order to leave this review. i recently secured a car loan with this institution 1 month ago and now i wish i didn't have to deal with this bank. they keep you on hold for over an hour. the only way to reach them is through chat where the agent is unable to provide full service. you have to call the main office number for the Pittsburgh office. i left 4 messages with no return calls from this bank. i cant wait until my TRW increases after this purchase so i can have my other credit union buy the loan in order to avoid the horrible service this bank says is quality service!!!! i can't believe this bank calls this great customer service
Nice people. Absolute worst customer service. Hope you have at least a day to waste getting bounced around on their phone systems for something simple and still not get anywhere.
I’ve had a car loan and a savings account with Riverset for a few years (the savings came with the car loan which was a cool bonus-first savings account at 42 years old!). Any time I’ve had issues with the website I’ve been able to call and talk to a person easily and they’ve been able to help. It’s really handy being able to access my savings account at PNC ATMs as well. The new app is a great bonus and is easy to use. All in all, I’ve been impressed with the service and would recommend them!
