They constantly complained about everything! They were always trying to diagnose my kid and trying to get me to fill out forms to get someone in to formally diagnose him with whatever they had it in their head he had. The director was always telling me he was going to do terribly in school because he's just out of control. He's doing great in school. He has a kind patient teacher, and the teachers at his new daycare rave about how smart and kind he is. They admit he has allot of energy but say it's easy to redirect him, he does great now. I feel like Unicorn just wanted to label him instead of working with him. He has allot of energy, he always has. They're was no consequence if he acted up like a simple time out, and they would yell at him constantly. He was miserable there.

I would give this daycare a zero if i could. They would constantly harrass us during the day claiming our child was a danger to others and himself and would make us miss several work hours to go do their job and discipline our child. They never listened to us or respected us as parents and i firmly believe it has something to do with the fact im married to a trans woman. They promised us an aid for our child and we even took more time off to fill out forms only to be told two weeks later they wouldnt provide us with said aid. We begged them to stop contacting us during the day so we could actually work and they refused to listen. Theyd call us to get us to come talk to our kid and if we said we couldnt they demand we pick our kid up. There wasnt a day that went by where we werent being harrassed or disrespected. We tried working with them but it was clear the director had an agenda and didnt like our family because shed always intercept what was being told to us by our sons actual instructors and shed make it sound 100 times worse than what was happening. I wouldnt recommend this daycare if you want to work or if you are a part of the LGBTQ community.
