Love this chippy!! And always service with a smile!! If you haven't tried their chicken fillet burgers, you definitely have to!! They are the BEST!! Have to say, I've tried a lot from the menu in here and it's all good, so I don't really think you can go wrong with the food! Oh, and they have an app now too, which means you can order and then pick up with no hassle at all (and they have all the options included (for adding salt & vinegar or none if you prefer) they really have all the attention to detail on it and you can also contact the shop if you need to. #supportlocal

I have eaten from Roadhouse before, and enjoyed their food. I ordered a meal for delivery for my wife and I. We found the super sauce to have a funny taste. It seemed to have a perfumed/chemically taste to it. I rang to explain and sure enough they were understanding and offered a replacement meal. Stating that they had tasted it, and were making new sauce. After waiting 35mins for the replacement to be delivered after already waiting 40mins, for the first Initial order. It was the completely wrong order. I then took the wrong order myself personally back to roadhouse. As I couldn’t get through on the phone. I explained to the lady at the till, she was nice and understanding. She went about sorting it out. The real problem I have is not the waiting or the major inconvenience. Or that I had to go in personally after wanting my food delivered, and paid extra for that. The problem was the fella that took time to come out from the kitchen. To ask me what was wrong with the sauce in a rude manner, in front of other customers after explaining for a second time. He then made excuses about it, and even turned into a “otolaryngologist” (ENT Specialist). Telling me my tastebuds were different as if to explain the situation. In a nut shell waiting 1h15 minutes for food, and then having to go down myself after wanting delivery. To have the theory of taste buds explained no thanks! For a sauce that tasted so weird, and ruined a meal we paid 6.50 for. (Ps the guy in the back eating his burger meanwhile at the grill toasting the baps for the chip butties. Rubbing his nose and touching his face, is seriously worrying to see especially with COVID! ) I certainly will not be back. Whatever happened to the customer is always right, having some decency, and being apologetic.
Not the cheapest but definitely going back, food was delicious.
Called at the Roadhouse on Friday as it had been recommended by a friend. I was not disappointed. Ordered the 2 pizza meal deal. What fantastic value. The chips and Chicken nuggets where good but the Pizzas where superb. Probably the best pizzas I have had. We will definitely be back.
Best chippy I have tasted in years, cant wait to return !!
