I’d like to start off with I’ve been banking with Penair since 2014 and my mother has banked with them even longer. I’ve loved them the entire time and I will not change banks however, I’d like to share my recent experience... My mother is a stage 4 terminal cancer patient on hospice, she is unable to come into the bank, much less get out and about but we needed to have me put onto her account for personal reasons. We were told we could do it via email however after getting started, we could not complete it due to her not remembering her emails information linked to her bank account... So from there, we were told to come to the drive through since she’s unable to come in (she never gets out with her compromised immune system and right now definitely can’t due to COVID) I know it’s normally done inside but they said over the phone we could do it at the drive thru (their idea not ours). We went by today as we just had the conversation 2 days ago and had trouble from the start... I tried explaining what we were told and the lady wasn’t very happy she had to help us. I wish I would’ve gotten the woman’s name who helped us on the phone... We kept apologizing for the trouble we were, although I don’t think we were in the wrong, we were just doing what we were told we could. My mother even apologized and told her “sorry for being such a bother” to which she got no reply. The lady left the window and eventually came back and said “we will make the exception one time”. If that’s the case, I think the communication should be better between employees. Still enjoy banking with Penair just wanted to share our stressful experience today...

My husband and I moved here in May of 2017 after living in Georgia for 20 yrs and banking with the same bank all of this time. My husband arrived ahead of me, so at a friend's suggestion he opened an account with Pen Air. I opened an account with another credit Union..btwn the 2 different banks it has been night and day experience. The online banking with Pen Air has been an absolute NIGHTMARE! The other bank we have currently, and the bank I had in Georgia always were on point with online banking. All the retail charges are quick to post, HOWEVER, when it comes to paying our online bills it never shows up for days and sometimes over a week..It has been such a mess that I have had to wait for one bill to clear before I can pay another, due to a fear of messing up the account..that should be the reason for 'Available Balance' vs 'Actual Balance'.. So In an effort to keep this bank for the convenience of locations, rather than pay my bills through the online site, I started paying them through the actual individual websites via the Utility Website, or Mortgage Website- well- guess what? Currently my mortgage company website states they have already received my payment that was made midday on a Thursday, but here we are on Sunday afternoon and the money is still showing in my account, without even a memo for a pending payment Or a different 'Available Balance'..My husband and I have complained about this multiple times..with no good outcome. The attitude seems to be - 'It is what it is'. Well it isn't the way it is done at other banks..and if it doesn't change, my husband and I will be leaving your bank for good! The only reason you are getting a 2 star is because the tellers are friendly and the fee free coin star.

Usually good place to bank, all I can say is don't go on Saturday, bunch of new idiots everytime I go on Saturday, and nothing but problems, they sure put me in a bind,
