As an infrequent player that generally plays different courses every now and again I decided a return to Marland would be good with the father in law as it has wide forgiving fairways and is usually in great condition. Unfortunately - maybe down to the harsh summer we have had it was in the worst condition I've seen it in the 16 years since I first played. The greens were the main issue. They appear to be severely cut and subsequently suffering but also the public that play are clearly not replacing divots etc which is a shame as to me that is general etiquette. Good course and nice to play just a shame about the condition.
