Well worth a visit if you're in Rochdale. Tricky to access from the town centre and poorly signed. A well run and maintained small museum. Be sure to say "hello" to Cooper Bear.

An interesting visit takes about an hour, entry free but donation possible. Easy access and lifts to upper floors. Read up on the history of the Co-op and how much of today's movement towards sustainable community based society has it's roots here in Rochdale, yes who knew

Very small but informative museum. Everyone should be aware of the history of the Co-operative and its impact. Well worth a visit.

Awful. Very poor exhibition and representation of the hard work of the pioneers. The small fim booth upstairs was very educational but to think this was the very building it all started was shameful. If you go to touchstones there's a much better representation of Rochdale. I think the Pioneers museum should up their game as people from miles around will be coming to see what I saw.
