Oh the smells... and taste! BoCo Coffee Roasters is a new favorite, both to enjoy coffees on site in their Italian-style coffee bar, but also for freshly roasted beans to take home. Excellent drip coffee and perfect latte. Friendly, very knowledgeable staff. Shop local and support a small business! Well worth the #javadetour. Check out their website for coffee seminars, too.

The Mountain Blend is our favorite from this roaster. We are new to gourmet coffee and asked for a recommendation for an every day easy drinking option and this hit the mark and then some. No burnt taste whatsoever, clean flavor. Yum yum. I just tried Butter for the first time today and it’s another winner if you don’t mind the chocolate notes. I’m not a big chocolate fan. My husband drinks his coffee black and I add cream. I always taste a new blend without cream of course. Once I added my cream the chocolate notes did not bother me one bit and it was yummy from start to finish. I used a Chemex to brew the Butter. The Chemex is forgiving because I’m not good a pouring. My brew bed is like a tunnel lol but the flavor was still so clean. Am I making this up or does this butter blend go down smooth, light and almost creamy. Anyway, way to go Chef Kevin and the BOCO team.

This is the best roaster in the entire Charlotte area. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The current tasting room is very cozy and perfect on your way into work whether you need to grab and go or if you want to hang out. Everything you'll taste is incredibly fresh since it's roasting right behind the tasting room. Highly recommend on every dimension.
