These people are very unprofessional. And dont live up to their word. I bought a vehicle from them that they quote on quote had inspected. Yet when i had the vehicle inspected by a real mechanic he said my break pads were metal to metal. When i called the dealership about this they said there was no warranty on this. They are very unprofessional and liars. Many of the parts they said were brand new also were not brand new.

After almost a month of searching for a car my parents and I stumbled across Carolina Motorworks. The whole car buying experience was excellent and hassle-free. Gary is honest and reasonable. I got my car for a steal of a price and it is in excellent condition! Our family ended up buying 2 cars from Gary! I love my pathfinder!! And my sister loves her Mariner!! Thank you!!

I purchased a 2007 S550 in July 2015. The experience with the dealership at the time of sale was great (but why wouldn't it be It was an easy deal... I had financing from my local bank and came with a check in hand) the vehicle I purchased not so great! I thought it was a good deal because the car seemed to be in great shape with low mileage (a little over 35k) and car facts checked out. It has turned into a headache that I am constantly shelling out money for. The car is constantly at the dealership getting repairs! Not even 2 months after I purchased the vehicle I started running into problems with the cam magnets which cost over 2k to fix. Every since it seems as though every 2-3 months it's something else going wrong with the car. The amplifier went out after 10 months which is another 2,400.00. I have spent well over 7k on repairs in this short amount of time. Less than 2 weeks ago I had to replace the thrust arm bushing and conductor plate and what do you know check engine light just came on yet again. I've owned two other Mercedes over the years and NEVER had problems with them. Being that this vehicle was being driven by the owner prior to me purchasing it I find it hard to believe the true condition of the car was not known prior to the sell. I would not recommend this dealership. Beware!!!

Sometimes in life you come across a great business and you want to tell other folks about it. My experience with Carolina Motorworks and Gary was exactly that. In fact, I've bought two cars from Gary now. And when I'm ready to trade this one I have now (Infiniti G37--love it!), I'll probably buy a third from him. Gary not only helped me find the car I wanted, he worked with me on my trade in (Honda Accord) and helped transfer all the vehicle tags and paperwork. When given the option, I like to deal with local small business owners instead of giant high-pressure national dealerships/chains. Gary never played games with gimmicks or rebates and was transparent throughout the entire car buying process. A good vehicle, a fair price, and good service. What more can you ask for?

Gary and his mother are the BEST!!! I have bought over 6 cars from them. One day i drove through SC and about 20 dealers in Charlotte looking for a fair to good deal. could not get any dealer to even budge. Carolina Motorworks went over and beyond to assist me from start to stop. the last car was a 535i BMW and I could not have gotten it for a better price. Thanks to Carolina Motorworks i got yet another deal. Clay
