Dr. Burak was indeed a terrible doctor. He didn't want to do a lyme test because I hadn't been to Michagan. What? We have lyme disease in SC! Regardless, I went away and lived with my pain for almost 5 years before I found a doctor who would listen and diagnose me. I'm glad he retired. He was hurting people with his behavior.

He was very conceited. Told me my doctor didn't know what she was talking about. That would be why she sent me to see him. He made me feel like I was wasting his time. He never bothered to call with my test results so he's just mailing them to me. He made me feel like he was more important then I was in in the appointment . So even if I had had issues which I don't know yet because they're mailing me my test results after having to wait almost a month. I would not go and see him as a doctor anyway . I would not recommend anybody to go see him I would definitely look for a different doctor.

I took my mother to see him and while he spent plenty of time learning about her medical history, while friendly at times, he dis-credited pretty much all of her previous diagnosis and acted like he was talking to a three year old. Her orthopedic doctor sent a MRI for him to look at so he could see her bone loss, and he didn't look at it. He based his conclusions off of an x-ray of her hands and blood work. He sent her on her way and and didn't help in the least. Go to Pineville or Charlotte.

I was referred to him from my family Dr. for body pain I was having for years. I waited over a month for the appt. just for him to just take a blood test , look at my hands and feet and for him to ask me what do you think you have?? Umm I don't know thats why I'm here to see you... I had to call to get my blood test results and I was still left wondering what is causing body pain. Just weird, don't waste your time with this guy.
