I was referred to Mike from Scuba ventures by a really good friend. I wasn’t to sure about trying scuba as hobby (I’m very iffy about breathing and tight spaces) and now that I have my wife and kid involved I couldn’t been more wrong. Mike is not only extremely knowledgeable (been doing this since the 70’s) but he is one of the most positive and kind human being I’ve come across in my 40 years of life. She has literally held my hand and walk me on the information do you need as well as equipment to make sure that this experience as something that’s one of a kind. I highly recommend at least trying this once in your life.

Mike and Scuba Ventures are a treasure! Mike is a patient scuba instructor, very pleasant to work with. Venture Scuba is a great place to get your PADI open water certification which also offers other related courses and certifications.
I've known Mike Nichols (Owner of Scuba Ventures) for over 20 years and highly recommend him as an Expert Instructor. His Dive Shop is very well stocked and his Dive Equipment Maintenance and Repair Shop is 5 Star as well. Additionally, he books Dive Trips to fantastic locations all over the World. I've sent MANY people to him to become Certified Divers, from Basic Certification, to highly Advanced, and all his Students say he's wonderful. The kind of person you WANT for an Instructor.
