DISRESPECTFUL & INCONSIDERATE! Look at the photos I have posted they speak for themselves! Despite repeated requests to clean up the garbage on the jobsite the trash continued to be an issue for my neighbors and I. They allowed the area to become a complete eyesore with construction debris, bottles, fast food wrappers and all other sorts of disgusting garbage blowing into a natural area including a ton of foam into a drainage pond. Under no circumstances would I ever consider or recommend Hawk Construction as a General Contractor to even build a picnic table. This company is ARROGANT, LAME & LITTERBUGS! Totally Unbelievable! Due to my trying to get Hawks Builders to pick up the litter, I was contacted by the Sheriff of Rockingham County, North Carolina. It seems as if my attempts to get them to take responsibility for the garbage were viewed as harassment and the police were contacted. Never once was the picking up of the garbage suggested by Hawks as a resolution, this was all turned around making me out to be the villain! Rather than simply pick up the litter that they are responsible for they chose instead to contact the law and complain that I was harassing them by calling and leaving messages requesting that the garbage be taken care of. Is this the type of builder you want on your next contracting project?
