Don't usually do reviews, felt this experience deserved one. This was my first time at Mainely Nails. I decided to try a different place than my go to. MN did not seem very clean despite them having me wash my hands as soon as I walked in (without any direction to a sink, having to find it myself). I sat down in the chair and upon resting my hands on the table I could immediately feel nail dust and debris from previous customers. During my manicure my manicurist had headphones in and was speaking with someone on her phone- the entire time. Allowing those things to slide, as my manicure went on I felt less and less like I mattered as a customer. My nails were being rushed and half-done. The end result being uneven, misshapen, lumpy and inevitably not what I was hoping nor asked for. And for 50 dollars I'd hope to at least get a manicure and experience better than what I can do for myself. Most likely won't return to MN.

Love my gel mani! The owner was really attentive and friendly. She took the time to bring my nails to perfection and I'm totally loving them! It's a no frills salon but they give you want you want at a decent price. I will be back :)
My first time going, and they look and feel great. Highly recommend.
