As a woman taking the class , I felt a little intimidated as the class day approached. But, I would like to say that Tom is a wonderful, and engaging professional and experienced teacher ! I found that all my anxiety was quickly gone as soon as Tom greeted me in the classroom. There were other women in my class and I felt that the small class group was engaging and pleasant, so I feel that I learned exactly the information that I needed! So, if your think about taking a gun training class this is the one for you!

Took the firearms safety course with Tom and it was great! Super informative, much more in-depth than other classes I've taken. I would definitely recommend SSGT if you're looking to expand your knowledge base, learn safe practices, get advice on what arms to choose when you start shopping, and get a better understanding of local, state, and federal firearms laws.
I took the class with South Shore Gun Training to finally get my license back after letting it expire too long ago! The instructor was knowledgeable, relaxed and very personable, which made the class enjoyable. I highly recommend this course if you need to take one. Having done this before there was no instance of putting the student “on the spot” with any questions that may make one uneasy, which I have seen before. The information is straight forward and easy to follow with most potential questions being answered before being asked, including what not to expect from this class ( national/interstate laws are too broad one state to the next for anyone to have comprehensive knowledge of). Of the six people in the class I attended five of us stayed longer talking with the instructor once the class was over, what more need be said...
Awesome class!! Tom is an amazing instructor. He very informative. I would highly recommend them!!! Extremely happy I chose to take the class there!
Tom is the man, plain and simple. He is thorough, down to earth, smart, and extremely informative. I highly recommend if you are looking to obtain your LTC, to go through Tom. 10/10, would take this class again.
