This is not an official tourism location, where tourists can go by guide to visit this site, rather it was and old important stop along the old Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, now owned by CSX below is a snippet that I pulled from Wikipedia: Up until April 30, 1971, Rockwood was a stop on the Baltimore & Ohio's daily Washington—Akron passenger train. Since 1981 Amtrak's Capitol Limited (Chicago—Washington) has passed through Rockwood without stopping. Since 1990 local officials have lobbied for Rockwood to be added as a stop, and in October 2009 Amtrak released a feasibility study which placed the cost of a new station at 2.2 million.

Wondering where the train is? Thought I could catch the South Penn, or the B&O maybe? Asked someone in town if he knew when the next passenger train was stopping, and he said Norfolk'n way man.
