Rented a flat on Drakefell Road. Extortionate fees. Flat had never been refurbished. Black mould infestation, rodent infestation, slugs coming into bedroom, flat was damp. Monthly rent was extortionate. When I left they tried to charge me for ridiculous items like a plastic garden chair. Rent seekers in the truest sense of the phrase.

The staff are highly professional, friendly, empathic and have great integrity. We both bought & sold our home via them and very pleased with the service. Ours wasn't the easiest flat to sell, being concrete & ex-council - we landed a great offer with a cash buyer. Although our original deadline fell through due to a chain issue, they renegotiated the cash buyer to a deadline that suited us, keeping us informed every step of the way. They really deserve every penny of their fee, in our opinion. Most especially of course George who has been our main contact, Will, Amy and the team. Highly recommend!

We sold our flat in Brockley earlier this year through Rocodells. We had previously rented through them some years before and were impressed with their service. Due to past experience, we knew we wanted to use a local, independent agent, rather than one of the many national agencies. Furthermore, our neighbours had recently sold through Rocodells and were full of praise for the team there. The whole process from start to finish was great. Their fee is as competitive as you'll find. The photographs were head and shoulders above most of the other agents; in an age when people make decisions based on Rightmove, that's really important. The staff are polite, professional and - most importantly - on time. Best of all, we sold our flat in just over a week for over the asking price. You may say that is the nature of the London property market, but I am now more convinced that the quality of the agent is a major factor. Full marks to George and the team at Rocodells. I'd recommend them without hesitation.

The worst estate agency I've had to deal with. Rented a house in Brockley off them, there was a leak in the kitchen for months which caused the ceiling to fully fall through the kitchen. Had I been under that ceiling, I would not be here to write this very bad review. The estate agent who "looked after" us said it was fine because I wasn't under it and took months to fix the kitchen, forcing me to spend a fortune on eating out every night. At the end of the tenancy, I suggested that I would be renewing my tenancy but then got a job and found a replacement tenant. Due to this, I currently find myself in a dispute in which they want to charge 150 to my deposit for a contract that I did not sign. They also want to charge me another 150 for rent between the day I handed back the keys and the day the replacement tenant moved in. Absolute shambles. The agency should be ashamed of themselves. I lived in an unsafe house for months and they should have some sympathy. Steer clear of these people, specially if you're a student/young professional as they will exploit you. I'm very surprised to see all these positive reviews here, although they're all in reference to their sales department. Everyone I know who has dealt with their lettings has had similarly tragic experiences to mine.
