More pricy than your big stores but the quality, especially the butcher is worth it. Staff is always top-notch.
This place is expensive. I purchased something online from someone and we used the Ray's parking lot as safe mutual exchange point. While I was there, I bought some Red Star yeast (the little set of three envelopes) and discovered that it was roughly twice the price I could have gotten it elsewhere. I was planning on buying milk too, but it was almost 4.50 for a gallon. However, the closest, decently priced grocery store, is 11 miles away in Grants Pass. If you are on a budget, I'd suggest putting that money in the gas tank and doing your grocery shopping elsewhere.
