Unprofessional from the word go. Sloppy in appearance, disrespectful in respect to court procedures and addressing the judge (I.e. does not stand up, does not say “your honor” and acts like this is an entitlement), is a proven liar and several people have reported her to the bar for such. Which should be a big red flag for all. If you notice, most all the positive reviews are females and people facing pretty severe punishment. She may be a “fierce advocate”, but at what cost? Lying? Deceptive tactics and drawn out filing? Filing important documents at the last minute? Missed dates and orders for continuation? Sound familiar? So this boils down to 1) being preferential to females, which is not only sexist but 2) not upholding the legal principles of representation and conduct. So if you want to take the chance at losing money because your legal representation is biased (which might, as you see, be against you) or altogether just not well put together. Me personally, would never hire this person. Not trustworthy. Biased. Unprofessional.

10/10 would never use this lawyer again or refer her to anyone. Can never get the lawyer herself on the phone. Not even if it’s an important matter. And when you do want to speak to her you have to set up an appointment which is going to be 3 weeks to a month out. And once you think you will finally be able to see her and set down with her she will have her assistant call a week in advance to push back your appointment for two more weeks. She gets you important papers weeks- to months late. And something that should only take but a few months at most takes her over a year to never accomplish. Not to mention even if she don’t use all the money you give her you can best bet she won’t give you the rest back because she will claim she used it all and that you owe her.
Carrie Gerischer not only does an outstanding job representing individuals, her commitment to Serve and Protect the community in which she resides is nothing short of a miracle! I give her a five star review because of her compassion and true desire to do good in this world . My family and I are very proud to say the least to call you our lawyer!!
If I could give a 0 star I would. She is literally the most unprofessional lawyer I have met. If you are looking for an attorney that dodges phone calls, allows her staff to talk down to you, files paper work in a untimely manner, doesn’t respond to any emails, and doesn’t provide a trust account for you, Well your in luck. Because that’s what you will get.
She said my daughter wouldn't do prison time, and although very diescouraged from past events Carrie did her thing and my daughter didn't go to prison!
