The team are incredibly informative , patient ,professional and friendly. Answering our questions -especially taking time to explain about the handbrake (it was so different) as the model we hired did not have the P option. Very easy to return vehicle, quick comprehensive check and paperwork all in order .

We chose Euro Campers as we prefer to go for smaller companies and didn’t fancy joining the green van clan that has overridden New Zealand’s roads. Overall we really enjoyed our experience! We opted for one of the larger models for our 2 month trip - the Euro Twin. We didn’t completely love this van, it was massive which made it hard to park in cities and although the manoeuvring itself was easy, the visibility on these vans is very poor and we thought could do with cameras/sensors. We also thought the interiors were very dated and overwhelmingly blue! However, the sizing inside was good, the bed was the perfect size for two tall adults (like us) and we found it very comfortable. It was well equipped with everything we needed to cook inside the van. We chose to buy a new chopping board as the one they provided stank of garlic and they offered to pay us back for this. The water capacity is very good in this model and the hot water worked really well as well as the shower. Unfortunately we ended up having to go to the garage 7 times over the 2 months! But the staff at Euro Campers couldn’t have been more helpful with our situations. They were very quick and professional with responses (most communication was via email), and we were asked to calculate the time we spent at garages to refund us some money for time lost. We had to call the AA out one day and the money has already came back to my account just after 3 days of handing the van back. So, definitely recommend Euro Campers as a company, but maybe not the Euro Twin as a van, unless they are updated inside! :)
The 21 camper was perfect for my trip easy to drive had every thing in it for my holiday. Very cheep rental. And the staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you Berry and Euro campers.
We rented a camper van for 3 weeks, the vehicle was in excellent condition. The customer service from start to finish was brilliant, would book again with Euro Campers when we return!
We traveled for a month with the Euro Sleeper and had an amazing time. The car was clean and very well maintained. Furthermore, the customer service was very responsive and had an answer to all our question. Highly recommend this company!
We had a great experience with Euro campers. Service was very professional and friendly from the booking process to returning the car. Our car was in fair condition and mostly matched the provided description. Some minor things didn't work but it harldy affected our travels. Somewhere in the middle of nowhere we got a stone chip and we notified them about it. Handling worked well. The prices may be a bit higher than the one from bigger competitors but overall I think we got good value for money.
Due to the good reviews, the German speaking customer service and the good price we decided to rent a camper with Euro Campers (Budgy Eco Sleeper). At first we were very happy with it, until we found out that the car was full of BED BUGS. My partner and I had a really rough time, being covered in about 400 very itchy and painful bites. We still have scars from the wounds. We had to stop our journey and go back to Christchurch and were stuck there for a couple of days. Positive: They let us stay in their office, use the shower etc. and take care of cleaning our stuff. They also paid for the dry cleaning and some new clothes we had to buy. We got a new car to continue our journey after four days and a small refund as compensation. Negative: The handling on site was awful. Only after asking them, they sat down with us to discuss the situation. And even then, the handling was not very professional. On top we heard some very confusing stories regarding the car and its history: 1) On the phone: They told us there were problems with that car before. 2) On site they told us how they cleaned the car, changed the cushions and curtains and hoped everything would be fine. 3) They told us there never were problems with the car and we were the first ones to have the bed bug problem. Once we left they were not reachable by phone anymore, even when we called directly after receiving an email. Some of our belongings were ruined during dry cleaning and they did not pay for them. And when we started arguing about the refund, they even tried to make us responsible for the whole problem in the first place (each of us had about 400 bites, these little bugs only eat once every 5-7 days...so there must have ben lots of them in the van already and I am pretty sure we did not bring them with us). We do not know how they cleaned the car, but when we returned the backup van in Auckland they just prepared the "bed bug car" for the next customer...
