Although the artifact is neat to see, it is basically the only thing here. You can see it through the glass windows for free, and a lot of it is not even the original. They have a special exhibition space underground, but it costs extra. The bathrooms were clean. The staff were very kind and helpful. I would not visit again. This museum is included in the MIC card.

Augustus would not have liked this building. It is as cold as a refrigerator. The outside wall with the es gestae\ is the best part of the building. Again the water art outside is the second best. Save the money, do not enter..
While it is beautiful it is not really worth the entry fee. Other then some background information aboit the monument and a fairly small monument that you can see within 5 minutes time it is not much. For an additional fee you may visit an extra exhibition but I skipped that.
The most quiet museum i've been so far where you can really relax and just enjoy reading history and looking at exhibit without worrying of crowdedness of a place. Also for locals in Rome i suggest you get a MIC card that gives you the privilege to access certain museums for free for a free, all you need is your residence ID and payment of 5 euro.
You can admire this piece of antic history in peace and quite as not so many people goes here. So you have plenty of time to step by and explore every piece of it. Also Sergo Leone exhibition was amazing.
