Temporarily closed and planned to reopen in Feb 2021 after restoration work. There is a new entrance through the Western wall surrounding the site with a wheelchair accessible ramp. New paths round the site and a new seating area presumably for performances. The seating area would have been more effective if it had been built out of local stone.

Bit of a strange one this. It's in the middle of a built up area, next to some council offices!. All the signage is back to front from the way you walk in?. The roman mosaics itself is in a very nice building. Which means you can't get a very good look at it. But this is probably for the best as the site seems to be frequented by the local youths. The roman mosaics itself is awesome, just a very strange site.
Really interesting and free to visit, lovely mosiacs, sited next to council buildings, we drove in and parked at the weekend when it's empty
Great for school projects, a real piece of history you can walk around.
You possibly need a town guide to get the best of it. A downloadable audio guide was advertised at the entrance but was offline for the foreseeable future. The structure protects the mosaics and footings but is not a replica Roman house. Free entry.
