Possible to catch carp over 20lb, but equally if you just want to go somewhere and more or less guarantee to catch something reasonable then this place is ideal. Plenty of swims but can get busy. Cost is 10 a rod. Disabled access to lake. Thoroughly recommend.

A nice place for a fish. Not difficult but if you try and target the bigger fish it makes it more of a challenge. Well maintained and well run.

I went there Saturday and first impressions were that it was a very well kept and looked after complex. I phoned the day before for a bit of information and the lady I spoke to was engaging and easy to speak to. There's an island in the centre which can easily be reached with a waggler. I ended up with 37 carp with a combined weight of 207lb, the largest being 11lb. This would be a great place for the novice angler or if you want to teach your children. Needs 10-20yrs to mature for me personally.

It’s in a nice location, well maintained with friendly people and toilet facilities. A good days fishing if you want to catch loads. The downsides are the amount of people, often matches happening at weekends. The quality of the carp isn’t great, many have deformed mouths, it’s rare to catch one that isn’t damaged in some way. The variety of species is lacking, I’ve tried various methods and baits but can only pull out the same kind of carp. I miss the tench and breams...
