For me It was a good experience. Met alot of good people and alot of friends in the long run. Went there for Diesel Tech and graduated. What I wouldn't do to go back and experience it all again. Miss everything about it. Times haven't been the same since, stuck working entry level jobs. Thinking about taking up some welding soon though. Thank you Kicking Horse staff for everything and everyone that attended I don't know if anyone would remember the last name Red Dog but just know I miss y'all and I hope everyone is doing ok. ️ Dorm 3 forever

Work out center and gym and Sonna but because of covid the Sonna is shut down and gym is limited to one person and the the hole building is limited to 14 people at a time. Great place to work out at.

The program itself was rife with qualified, and under qualified staff. The best staff members had a background in education, specifically special education. The worst had barely any college degree, had no idea how to teach, and abused the young people who went here. As someone who understood the difference between quality education, and abusing the students, it was clear to me that this campus needed to be closed. For too long this campus was run by people who completely disregarded the safety, respect, dignity, education, and growth of the students. Most “teachers” had a power problem who wanted to make other people feel small, and powerless next to them. I’m glad this campus is closed...there was abuse and criminal behavior that relished in this place. Good riddance. Bigby, I only wish the students could have had you as a leader and teacher. If you had run this campus for a substantial amount of time, it would still be open.

I received a GED and carpentry training. They also offered Heavy Equipment Training and a few other programs.I attended in 1976.Kickinghorse was one of only two co-ed jobcorp centers in the U.S.and you were required to be of some percentage Native American any tribe.I had a good time there and will always have good memories of my time there.
