The roorkee bus stand is the first thing you see when you reach roorkee and this place is not so neat and clean. There is litter everywhere and bad smell. But roadway facility is available to nearby cities like Dehradun, Delhi, Saharanpur etc.

It resembles like a Village Busstop...though being a Historic Town Roorkee its structure should be a bit diffrent and attractive but its not that upto mark. Cleanliness is very Poor. No sign of development for decades can be easily seen here. Building are not even white washed or painted for years. Enquiry system is also poor. Yes we can talk about the availability of buses which is very Good as it connects many important cities and due to its central placement its very Important.

Very busy and crowdy place as it is situated near the main market that is why it faces too much crowd as well as traffic jams it is not in very big area but the area is prominent and little bit helpful for the passengers to depart from here, as it is situated at a crowdy place so be carefull regarding your wallets and bags when go there as it is not known that who will theft you. Roorkee is an prominent place of Uttarakhand Govt. But it is not developed as it deserves.
Buses are available here for various cities of Uttarakhand like Haridwar, Dehradun etc. and Uttar Pradesh like Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar etc.
