Brilliant range of macrame cords and colours. Have used Ropesource for a while now and they are prompt with delivery. I do prefer the No3 cord than the No38 cord as it holds its structure better as I find No38 too fluffy and thick. Think postage can be a bit steep.

I was very excited about ordering coloured macrame cord From rope source . I spent a lot of money with rope source and was very happy about receiving my cord the day after I ordered it. I started a project with one of the spools. But after three knots the cord was unravelling. Each string was separating. I sent a message to them asking them to contact me about the issue As I think it’s a fault with the coloured cord. But I’ve heard nothing back . I will be sending this back not happy at all that I will have to pay for postage as I bought 7 spools it’s large package so I’m going to be out of pocket by a long shot. I won’t be using rope source again unless they help me to resolve the problem and bother to email me back or contact me about the service. I gave them 1 star as I received it very quick . Nothing else I’m happy about. Poor customer service. If your considering buying the coloured macrame , buy only 1 so you can test the quality which I wished I’d done. Disappointed later update: Rope source got in touch with me and explained their website communication wasn’t responding so they didn’t have any record of me asking them to contact me regarding the cord. They quickly responded offering me a replacement with the spools I wasn’t happy with , and the replacements arrived a few days later FOC. I still wasn’t 100% satisfied as the cord unravels while using so can look messy sometimes. But depending on what your looking for this still is good quality and the colours are vibrant . I’m very happy to be support a UK shop. I will use rope source again as they were so helpful with solving my queries.

Purchased couple of macrame ropes, great products! Love using them to make macrame in lockdown. Love that it’s made in Britain just wish postage was cheaper.
