A pity, this bakery produced great pasties and pies albeit at a price. I know things are difficult, at the moment, but roughly halving the contents no longer makes them worthwhile. I will not pay for fresh air. A disappointed former fan.
First encountered rose cottage at the Burton Agnes michaelmas Festival years ago and always had one of the steak pies which are unbelievably good, but of more recent times they have been to bridlington Market every Wednesday. I've been going through all the pies they have to offer there pork pies are specially good as they do lots of different flavours. Rose cottage are one of the best around.
Bought some of their Pork Pies at the York Christmas Market. Absolutely delicious. Solid meat, great variety.
