In program with Kaiser for over a year. IOP was not a good program for me and the meds took about a year to get right. When I went to new Psychiatry my care improved. I was having anxiety and PTSD problems the whole time but Kaiser treated me for diagnosis that I do not have. A year later I am stable and improving under new care team. Thank you Advanced Psychiatry. I would not have known if my insurance has not changed.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is absolutely terrible. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to FORCE the people here to do their job. And even then they can’t do it right. This place made my mental health way worse. I’ve been going to Kaiser mental health for five years and I’ve got nothing of substance to show for it: they’re no help. If they can send you on your way with a new bottle of pills with no real therapeutic help, just to get you to shut up, they absolutely will. Terrible care here.

Was told I got a referral for PHP at a different hospital after doing intake with this Kaiser. Two weeks passed and I hear crickets, so I call back to find out Kaiser never even put in the referral. Now i’m back to playing phone tag with them to try and get another referral. I’m close to giving up.

Consistently bad experiences. I’ve never gotten the feeling that a single employee has actually cared about any of my issues. All they’ll tell you to do is sign up for their classes, don’t want to? Then they won’t help you. I’m currently seeking my third therapist because the first two left the program after a few months of treatment. I would go to a private therapist but I don’t have the money. This place is a joke.

I agree with many others’ comments here. These are not therapists; they are pill pushers. If you truly care about yourself which you should, look to a private therapist if you can afford it. Kaiser only created this program to say that they offer the service, but there is very little substance behind it. You definitely will not “thrive“.
