I think most of us have experienced hiring contractors for remodeling our bathrooms, kitchens and re-landscaping our yards. It takes them forever to complete their work due to other ongoing projects they have. We never know from one day to the next whether or not they’re going show up. It’s frustrating and we regret even hiring them. But this isn’t the case with Placer Valley Landscaping. Victor (The owner) came by my house to submit his bid to re-landscape my front and backyard and pour a new driveway, sidewalk and patio. I hired his company but not because he had the lowest price, but because he seemed to be more knowledgeable, and I also personally liked him from the day we met. He gave me a date of when he could start and a date to when he would finish. Victors belief is, when you start a job, you don’t take on other work until this job is finished, and that’s exactly what he did. He started at 7:30 a.m, and he and his crew worked every day except on Sunday because of church and family. Nine days later our place was transformed. It looked magnificent!. My wife and I were so pleased with his work, and just as important, his entire crew were a pleasure to work with and to get to know. We had Victor Zabalza and team do our front yard hardscaping in April 2018. Before going with Placer Valley Landscaping we talked to 2 other landscaping companies. The others quoted us some crazy high prices and/or tried to talk us out of what we wanted to do (which was a front concrete patio with steps to the street and a low wall). Victor worked with us on various options that allowed us to now have the front yard we dreamed of - - within budget! We are so happy that we followed his expert advice to do a colored concrete with dry release agent in a darker color. It made the concrete work go from simply great to spectacular! We could hardly believe his time estimate of three weeks but he was true to his word. Communication was great. We were never left wondering what was going on and Victor was good about contacting us with any questions or issues. We would highly recommend Placer Valley Landscaping for any hardscape project you have. He also does lawn maintenance and other types of landscaping projects. Thank you Victor!
